The Scottish Isles

ImageThere is something about them, the Scottish isles. This last year I’ve been spending nine months in total living on both Isle of Iona and Isle of Mull. These months have been the most life changing, challenging, exiting and and absolutely awesome months of my life. This is where I met the love of my life, this is where I’ve met some of the most amazing people, this is where I’ve been swimming in the sea on 5th of November 2011.

I would lie if I said that I don’t miss it, because I do miss it, a hell of a lot. These isles with its nature and the people I’ve been living and working with, have given me a chance to recharge my batteries and inspire and encourage me to take huge steps in my life. Without this, I would never have ended up in London to study and start a new life. I am truly grateful for this.

I still think that I’m not really done with Island living just yet though. I think that part of me is still left there, living a Camas life though the rest of me is here in London. One day I will be back on the isles. Until then, I will keep on knitting, creating things and dream.
